Swiss Air-Ambulance can organise and execute medical evacuations and medically escorted repatriations from virtually any country in the world.

Rega is the largest air-rescue organisation in Switzerland. Thirteen
helicopter bases are distributed throughout the country in such a way that, in good flying conditions, any point in the country - with the exception of canton Valais - can be reached within 15 minutes. The three ambulance-jets stationed at Zurich-Kloten Airport are used to transport people who have been injured or taken seriously ill abroad back to Switzerland.

Rega, which is a corporate member of the Swiss Red Cross (SRC), exclusively carries out emergency rescue missions and patient transfer flights. It is a private, non-profit foundation. It receives no financial support from the state, but is financed by some 1.5 million patrons.
